 A Day With Merilyn Part One
This is part one of two parts. If you enjoyed the natural, candid point-of-view of the Merilyn special Merilyn Exposed (on DVD as "Merilyn In Yer Face"), then you'll love A Day With Merilyn. This video has some of the same action as parts of Merilyn Exposed, such as Merilyn cooking and eating a meal, but is still different enough in presentation to stand on its own merits. Our cameraman enters Merilyn's bedroom to wake her up. This is never as easy as it might sound because Merilyn is a sleepyhead who always craves a few more minutes of slumber-time. Without even getting out of bed, Merilyn stretches out to loosen up for the day. Sleepy-eyed, with no make-up, Merilyn throws off her tank-top and examines herself in a full-length mirror. She approves. We then see what we have never seen in a Merilyn video and was long overdue: Merilyn brushing her long hair. The camera follows Miss Sakova into the bathroom, where she makes even brushing her teeth into an event. Merilyn wants coffee, a cigarette and breakfast next. And she's going to have these items totally nude except for an apron which looks transparent. You won't be seeing this on the Food Network anytime soon, unfortunately for their audience. "I love cooking," Merilyn says, as she beats a mix of flour, sugar and egg to make rollable pancakes with raspberry jam known as blintzes or "blinchiki" in Ukrainian. You already know that, if you've seen her previous cooking session in Merilyn Exposed, in which she sung the "potato" song. Ten minutes later, Merilyn is ready to sit down and enjoy her hearty breakfast...although she can't resist smearing some jam on her chest. Merilyn will be Merilyn.
